6 Tips on Hosting Your Next Pool Party

August 12, 2019

What’s better in the middle of the Summer than a great pool party with all of your friends? It may seem like a simple thing to do, but there’s a lot of things that you can do to elevate your party from just good to great. Here are six easy tips on hosting your next pool party.

Inflatables

From the classic pool rings, to even inflatable slices of pizza, there’s a perfect floatie for all. Get your child’s favorite floatie for a guaranteed fun time in the sun. You can easily get a lounge chair for yourself, so you can relax and enjoy all of your guests having fun in your pool.

Squirt/Water Guns

You can pack heat to beat the heat. Every kid loves a water gun. Get a bunch of small plastic water guns for everyone to enjoy, or tell kids to bring their own if they’ve got a special one. To make it easy for everyone to fill up, place a bucket full of water off to the side in your yard as an easy refill station. It is easy to regulate when the children use water guns by setting aside a designated water gun time at the party. That way no one gets upset or taken by surprise.

Waterslide

Make a splash at your next pool party by having a Waterslide delivered and set up in your backyard. Having a waterslide delivered and set up in the comfort of your own backyard is the easiest way to make your party stand out. Anyone can throw a pool party but only yours will have an awesome waterslide.

Beverages

The key to any pool party is to make several thirst-quenching summer beverages. Lemonade is the perfect summer beverage and has to be included in your list of summer beverages. Another fun thing to drink is a Blue Punch. Label the pitcher pool water for an extra effect that everyone will get a kick out of.  If you want an alcoholic beverage for those of age (like a scrumptious piña colada) be sure to properly label it so no one gets confused.

Pineapple Vase/Bowl for fruit

Slice up a pineapple and keep the outside intact for the perfect cherry on top piece on your snack table. Serving refreshing fruit inside of a pineapple is a great way to keep the summer theme throughout the party. Cut a pineapple a similar way and put some of your favorite summer flowers in it. This creative, seasonal vase will be the star of any snack table out by the pool.

Sand Bucket Snacks

Bring the beach to your backyard by putting snacks like cheese puffs and potato chips in sand buckets instead of bowls. Plop a little plastic shovel in with the snacks for the extra detail to push your snack bar over the top. Your guests will love it, they’ll think they’re practically at the beach.
